Lead the Way: Building a Culture of Mentoring

Thinking about how to facilitate and build a culture of mentoring within your organization and/or on your campus? Join us for a one day workshop on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 designed to help you strategically plan and create tangible action steps for embedding mentoring into the fabric of your institution. Through this workshop you will:

  • Learn about the Wake Forest University Mentoring Resource Center model
  • Gain insight into new mentoring strategies and the changing demographics of college students and young professionals
  • Create a strategic mentoring plan for your organization that includes identifying and articulating the value, setting strategic goals that connect to mission and vision, identifying and engaging stakeholders and key influencers, and developing feedback loops to evaluate success
  • Network with professionals from other organizations and institutions
  • Receive a toolkit to take back to your organization
  • Gain access to one hour of consulting with Wake Forest University Mentoring Resource Center staff

Who Should Attend?
This one-day symposium is aimed at those with access to institutional leadership and responsibility for institutional change management. Specifically, participants will be those with significant responsibility leading or managing mentoring programs, alumni engagement, career development, campus life, or academic affairs, and interested in creating a culture of mentorship within their organizations.

Registration Fee: $299.00/person
(includes breakfast, lunch, printed materials, and one hour of consulting), $199.00/person for additional attendees from the same institution
